Build it High
If you've got fifty tubs of K'nex, what better way to take advantage of it than to build big? Have a competition with friends to see who can build the tallest building! When you're done, add some tracks and turn it into the world's biggest K'nex roller coaster!
Rubber Casters
Build it Big
Instead of the tallest, try competing with a friend to see who can build the biggest or strongest structure, such as a bridge. Why not build a (near) life size car, chair, or building? Or for a different take, try seeing who can build the stronger structure with a limited number of pieces to test your engineering skills.
Real World Buildings
Try building large scale replicas of famous buildings such as the Capitol Building, the Empire State building or maybe the Washington Monument. Once you've finished, why not try building the Eiffel tower or Big Ben? There's just countless buildings you could make!
Projectile Launchers
With just some rubber bands and K'nex, you could be hurling or launching K'nex projectiles hundreds of feet away whether it's with a trebuchet or projectile launcher! Build models with your friends and see whose model can fire the farthest!
Complex Machines
Sure you can build a model car, but why not try your hand at building a model V8 engine, complete with gears, chains and pistons?
